Yes! as of june 1st, 2023 pharmacist are now able prescribe for contraception and many minor ailments, eligibility criteria and some limitations apply.contact us to find out if you qualify.
while appointments are not strictly necessary, it’s recommended to call ahead to ensure availability and reduce wait time.
a consultation usually takes around 15-30 mins, depending on the complexity of your needs and the discussion with you pharmacist.
For patients enrolled in bc’s medical plans (MSP), ther is no coast for consultation.out of province visitors can access this service for a nominal fee of $20. the patient is responsible for paying for the cost of the prescription itself.
